ARENA QUICK RULES AND FEES

Monthly Membership = $250.00 (1) horse per month per person ~Starts the day you purchase.  Each additional horse $25/month Youth Membership = $100.00 (18 and under) - (1) Horse per month per youth ~ Starts the day you purchase. ***Great for HS Rodeo/4H/Pony clubs  Punch Card = $125.00 5 Rides - (1) horse per punch. Does not expire. Each Additional horse $25/5 Rides Family Membership = $450.00 Family of 5 (2 adults & up to 3 children – one horse per person). Each additional child under 18 $25/month Reduced Price Trainer’s Fee = $15/lesson Commercial trainers & clinicians are welcome during open riding or E.A.U times to give ground lessons only. text or email ~ so it can be invoiced for fee. Non-Member Guest Riders - $15/ea. ride on boarded horse (this includes riders taking lessons on boarded horse that are already assigned to owner or stall/horse) invoices will be distributed at the end of each month and must be paid upon receipt. Memberships, waivers, and swipe cards must be signed and paid for in full prior to riding @ TSV No Refunds No Exceptions Membership gives you access to wash racks in the west wing & restrooms. YOUR SWIPE CARD ALLOWS ONLY YOUR ACCESS INTO THE BUILDING. NON-MEMBERS MUST SIGN WAIVERS UPON ENTRANCE TO TSV THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMPLIANCE.

Barn A ~ Self care inside stall w/ tack locker (no run) = $275/month*

 

Barn A ~ Self care stall w/ tack locker and window/run = $300/month*

 

Barn B ~ Self care stall w/ tack locker and window/run = $300/month* available only if barn A is full otherwise closed

Pasture Board ~ self care 1/2 acre outside pasture lots = $250/month 1 horse ea. horse $25Heated waterers, tree cover only, buck rail fencing  SOLD OUT 9/21/11

 

Full Care Board ~ Available upon Request- includes feeding 2x day, stall cleaning, blanketing as needed and turnout. We are your equine caretakers only. We do not clean up after persons in barn or arena OR dismantle equipment.

Shavings ~ $8/bag

 All boarding is due with a non-refundable cleaning deposit of $100.00.

First and last months’ boarding payment will be requested

Thirty days (30) notice must be given if contract is terminated for any reason or prior to removing equine from facility. Absolutely NO REFUNDS or discounts for removing any time during the month.

 EXCLUSIVE ARENA USE

 Ø       Exclusive Arena Use (E.A.U) may be booked for an additional fee of $25.00/hour (1hr min/4 hr max).   

Ø       E.A.U is only available to members and boarders. 

Ø       E.A.U invoices will be distributed at the end of each month and must be paid upon receipt.

Ø       Unpaid fees will result in loss of arena privileges.

E.A.U. MAY BE BOOKED BETWEEN 8AM -6PM. (1 hour minimum)

OPEN RIDE ~ 6PM-9PM (no e.a.u booking permitted) 

TUESDAY & THURSDAY

E.A.U MAY BE BOOKED BETWEEN 6PM-9PM (1hr minimum)

OPEN RIDE ~ 8AM-6PM (no e.a.u booking permitted)

SATURDAY & SUNDAY

E.A.U MAY BE BOOKED BETWEEN 7AM -3PM. (1 hour minimum)

OPEN RIDE ~ 3PM-9PM (no e.a.u booking permitted)

 

Any times not booked for E.A.U will be available to Membership/Boarder riding.

 

Please reserve time only if you plan to use it, so that everyone who wishes to use the arena/facility can. E.A.U MUST BE BOOKED 1 Week in advance. Cancellation notice must be given 24 hours in advance or you will be charged.

OPEN RIDING

 

Ø       Open Riding is permitted in all outdoor arenas and indoor. (Open riding is only allowed if the respective arena’s if not previously reserved for an Event or E.A.U).

Ø       Riding hours vary; however, there is typically an open arena to use between Monday Friday 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.(winter hrs till 9pm)  Sat– Sunday 7:AM - 9PM.  Please check the event calendar for details

Ø       Riders must follow all open riding rules while using the arenas.

Ø       All participants must sign TSV waivers prior to any activity

 

Notice: If you would like to come in and ride prior to a scheduled Event, please be sure you are finished at least two hours before the event begins. The event preparation has priority and could take longer than two hours. An event that is renting the facility will have the ground worked and watered as needed.

 

Open Riding Rules

Ø        Use proper pleasure riding etiquette at all times, to include using common courtesy with all other riders. Please pass left shoulder to left shoulder. 

Ø        It is the responsibility of the more experienced riders to "watch out" for the novice riders and children.

Ø        Riding/behavior lessons are not allowed during Open Riding, Lunging only in corners.

Ø        Commercial trainers & clinicians are welcome during open riding or E.A.U times to give ground lessons only and must pay a $15 trainer fee. All participants must sign TSV waivers prior to any activity.

Ø       Dogs are not allowed in the arena during Open Riding.

Ø        Roping, barrel racing, mechanical cow, jumping, trick riding, racing, buckets, trash cans, rails, poles or similar activities are prohibited during  Open Riding. E.A.U TIMES MUST BE BOOKED FOR THESE DISIPLINES even if the arena is not in use.

 

Ø        Horses must be tied to hitching rails located outside the arena railing.  NO TIEING INSIDE ARENA. Please control chewing and pawing.

 

Ø        The rail is for horses being ridden.  Mounting & dismounting allowed in corners or in staging area only.  A mounting stool is provided in the arena.  Conversations need to be in middle of arena or  in staging area.  Horses being cooled or walked on a loose rein must yield to horses in work.

 

Ø         Anyone not on horseback must be outside the arena railing during open riding.

 

Ø         All riders are responsible for cleanup of their horses.  All manure must be placed in provided bins located near arenas.

 

Ø        Please use natural lighting when possible and only light 3, 4, 9 &10 if needed.  Full lighting use will be assessed a fee of $45/hr.

 

Ø       Indoor Arena Barn A shall be heated during the winter to maximum of 39°-42°at all times even during winter months. Please DO NOT turn off the BIG ASS FANS. They are on for a reason.

 

Ø        Absolutely NO TOLERANCE of abuse to any animal – Privileges will be revoked!

 

Ø       Arena @ TSV has the Right to refuse anyone and may revoke any Stall Rental or Membership.

 

Ø        All children 18 & under must be a companied by and adult & waiver/release must be signed.

Ø        Open Riding times may change without notice, so it is always advisable to check the calendar at www.thearena-tsv.com before loading up to come to the Arena @TSV.

Ø         TSV is a Private owned Facility – You have riding Privileges – Please respect TSV, its managers, boarders and members.

 

 

Stall Rules and Privileges:

Ø       Stalls shall be cleaned by Renter a minimum of every other day or as required by management to avoid smell and unsightly appearance. Stall waist shall be deposited into receptacles provided by management.

Ø       Failure to maintain renter’s stall shall result in Management fee to maintain @ $45.00 hr and possible removal with forfeiture of all rents and deposits.

Ø       Stall renter shall be responsible for the health and welfare of their horse

Ø       One horse per stall including stalls with run.  Guest horses must rent separate stall and pay daily board rate.

Ø       Monthly stall rental gives arena riding privileges to boarded horse ONLY.  Any other horse/rider invited by the stall Renter shall pay the published membership rates. Failure to pay the membership rates/fees may result in termination and removal with forfeiture of all rents and deposits

Ø       Daily stall rental does not give Renter the right or privilege to use any of the facilities at The Arena @ TSV. 

Ø       Pasture board allows for one open riding membership per rented lot. If the individual person legally owns additional horses - those Equine(s) can be boarded at an additional cost of $25/head with open riding privileges on those head.    

Ø       Horses shall be fed and watered a minimum of once a day

Ø       Caretaker stalls for hay, grain, and shavings shall only be assigned by management

Ø       All outside contractors/trainers must sign TSV waivers before entering the premises. TSV assumes no liability for transactions between stall renter and outside contractor(s).

Ø       All aisle ways are to be kept clear and tack stored inside stalls. One tack trunk per horse may be stored in front of stall. Stall Renter is to be responsible for cleaning area in front of stall to the center line of the aisle way

Ø       Feed and shaving orders shall be placed on the placard 24 hrs in advance for delivery by TSV operations to stall for the published fee of $10.00 per account. All bales of hay are at market value. Shavings are available for $8/bag.

Ø       No Smoking on the premises of The Arena at Saddleback

Ø       No alcohol is allowed on the premises of The Arena at Saddleback unless by permission of management for special events

Ø       Stall Renter is to be responsible for cleaning of horse wash stations after each use and all wastes shall be deposited into receptacles provided by management

Ø       Stall Renter may have the use of all arenas and turnouts between the hours of 8am-8pm, unless Special Events are scheduled by Operations mgmt.  See Open Riding hours for further details.

Ø       Stall Renter is responsible for checking with Operations management for a list of scheduled events.

Ø       Operations management shall groom and water arenas as weather permits once a day and once prior to Event during am and pm hours.

Ø       Stall Renters shall have no exclusivity uses of arenas except for Events or as defined in Exclusive Arena Use definitions.

Ø       Stall Renters shall remove any and all apparatus immediately from arenas upon the end of their Exclusive Arena Use time and return them to designated storage areas. No equipment shall be brought into the arenas unless Exclusive Arena Use has been reserved.

Ø       Stall Renters shall work diligently to share the arenas amongst mixed riding disciplines and adhere to Open Riding Rules at all times.

Ø       Indoor arena shall be made available for Rental Events at any time for the published fees.  Summer and winter schedules may change locations of Events.

Ø                   Stall Renters are allowed and encouraged to invite guests to watch and visit at the arena but no guest horses are allowed except during reserved Events and for the published fee. All guests must sign liability waiver upon entering The Arena at Saddleback

E. Stall rental does not give Renter the right or privilege to use any of the facilities at The Arena @ TSV other than for the horse listed in 7. Renter Contact Information: Any other horse invited by the stall Renter shall pay the published membership rates. Failure to pay the membership rates/ fee shall result in termination of this Rental agreement and forfeiture of all rents and deposits. A NON MEMBER whom takes lessons off a boarded horse needs to pay a NON MEMBER FEE of $15. / Ea ride

OUT SIDE CLINICIANS COMING INTO THE FACILITY to teach LESSONS to existing BOARDERS AND MEMBERS must sign all waivers with guests upon giving lessons with reserved slot time of $25.00 hr.  All guest waivers must please be signed as your guests enter the facility this is TSV policy. 

Ø       Stall Renters shall have the right to use any Vet of their choice. All sick horses shall be removed or quarantined. Current coggins and health certificate shall be require prior to stall/pasture rental and annual coggins and health certificates required thereafter.

Ø                   Stall Renters shall have the right to store their horse trailer on site in the designated trailer storage area. Snow removal for trailer access is provided by The Arena @ TSV.
